900 celebrate Obama in Holmes Beach, FL

Published by susan71 at 1:31 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Would you believe that a small, republican based Southwest Florida town on the lazy, coastal area of the gulf coast of Florida attracted nearly 900 people on Tuesday - residents and visitors alike - to a quiet little nook in the crack neighborhood of Bradenton, Florida?

I did - because I was there. Some, tourists taking a break in their busy vacation schedule to warm up from the 44-degree weather that this local area hardly ever experiences, stopped in to grab an Irish coffee and take a quick glance at what the new leader of our nation had to say, while locals, grabbing a cup of cheer toasted the big screen to who could possibly be the savior of our nation, basked in the glory of the historic day.

The Beach House Restaurant, located on Beach Road in Holmes Beach, Florida knew exactly what I am referring to … and I was happy to be there to experience just that.
